1,2,3 John 1 credit
These short, but timely books give the opportunity for verse-by-verse study, while making practical application to everyday life.

Acts 1 credit
The history of the early church will be explored. Emphasis will be placed on the various techniques of evangelism displayed within the book of Acts.

Bible Study Tools 1 credit
This course is designed to introduce the student to effective Bible tools. From the basic use of commentaries and concordances to the modern-day era of computer software and the internet, the student will become better equipped for lifelong study of God’s Word.

Children’s Ministry 1 credit
Students will be presented with various effective tools to reach children of all ages. Opportunity will be given for practical planning and implementation.

Christian Ethics 1 credit
This course will help the student to apply God’s Word to various ethical situations that they may face throughout their life.

Christian Family 1 credit
As today’s culture attempts to redefine the family, this course teaches the biblical foundation for a godly marriage, and a balanced, scriptural approach to raising children.

Counseling 1 credit
With special emphasis given to one-on-one discipleship, this course will teach biblical principles of Christian counseling. Scripture will be taught as the central focus of all true counsel. Principles will be applied in general counseling areas, such as depression, anger, worry, fear, God’s will and others.

Creation/Evolution 1 credit
A thorough study of Creation and Evolution, equipping the student to answer evolutionist be liefs from a Biblical perspective. Contemporary issues will be addressed.

Cults and World Religions 1 credit
This course will present an overview of various religions and prominent cults. Strategies for witnessing to each of these groups will be emphasized.

Dispensationalism 1 credit
This course will review the dispensational structure of studying God’s word. Contrast and comparison will be made with other systems such as Covenant Theology.

Doctrines 3 credits
These two three credit courses include a general study of Theology as well as anthropology. Angelology, Bibliology, Christology, Soteriology, Pneumatology, Ecclesiology, and Eschatology. Special emphasis will be given to the necessity of understanding these doctrines in personal Bible study.

Hebrew History 1 credit
A study of the Jewish nation from the call of Abraham to the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD.

First Aid/CPR 1 credit Students will be Red-Cross certified in CPR and First Aid. This course will be taught by a Red-Cross instructor.

Leadership 1 credit
This courses focuses on leadership qualities that are essential for every Christian to develop and put into practice at home, in the community and in the workplace.

Life of Christ 1 credit
A thorough walk through the life of Christ will be examined. This class will focus on Christ’s ministry and the effect it should have on our life today.

Ministry Lab 1 credit
Students will learn ministry in a practical hands-on setting. Time during the week will be spent in preparation for weekend ministry in their local church, youth activities and evangelistic outreaches.

NT Survey 3 credits
A continuing study of God’s work as revealed in the New Testament. The various types of books will be studied and an overall knowledge of the themes and content of the NT will be taught.

OT Survey 3 credits
An overview of the Old Testament tracing God’s plan of redemption through the ages. The structure and style of each book will be considered. An overall knowledge of the themes and content of the Old Testament will be taught.

Personal Discipleship 1 credit
Each day students will spend time in devotions and Bible study. Requirements will also include Scripture memory and required reading as well as one on one time with a mentor.

Personal Evangelism 1 credit
This course instructs the student how to effectively communicate the Gospel to the unsaved. Various methods and techniques for effective evangelism will be explored.

Postmodernism 1 credit
This course helps the student come to the understanding of postmodernism, its effect on today’s culture, and the specific challenges this philosophy presents to the 21st century Christian.

Practical Finance 1 credit
Students will learn the basics of personal finance focusing on Biblical stewardship principles for the resources God gives to us. Hands-on activities will include budgeting, record-keeping, and tax-filing.

Principles of Bible Study 1 credit
A study of various Bible study methods useful for personal study and teaching.

Prophecy 1 credit
A study of the major prophecies in the Bible with a concentration on Daniel and Revelation. Special emphasis will be given to Eschatology.

Public Speaking 1 credit
An important part of ministry is the ability to speak in front of an audience. Students will learn principles of public speaking that will be useful for everything from sharing a testimony to teaching a Sunday school class.

Youth Work 1 credit
Students will be exposed to various youth group programs that been effective in local churches. Age-specific examples will be presented. This course will be practical in nature requiring planning and implementation of youth activities.
